The Aqüeducte de Can Vernet is an aqueduct in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Spain) which is also known as "Puente del Abad" (Bridge of Abad). It is located next to the Parque de Coll Fava (Park of Coll Fava).
This monument was part of the Mina de los monjes (Mine of the monks) and supported the monastery with water. The source of the water was the forest of "Can Vulpalleres".
It is a very silent and relaxing place and in contrary to the standard surrounding of cubic buildings very spacious and open around here with a lot of Mediterranean plants and amazingly huge trees. The place invites to sit down a while and do nothing enjoying the sun.
The acueduct was declared property of cultural interest in the year 1979.
