El Port Vell in Barcelona (Old Port) surely is one of the most romantic places of Barcelona. Located in Ciudad Vella (Old town), connects the city with the sea.
Besides of a lot of saling boats, yachts and ships of nearly all sizes, there are many other tourist attractions as Museo d'Historia de Catalunya (Museum of the history of Catalunya), Maremagnum (Shopping Center with Shops and discos) and a medium size dockyard for small and medium size ships.
Once a year the Salon Nautico is celebrated here - an exhibition for yachts and sailing boats - and exhibitors from all other the world show there best.
