The monastery of Sant Pau del Camp is an antique benediction monastery in the city of Barcelona. It represents one of the best conserved roman buildings of the city.
This church is the most antique house of god which you can find in Barcelona and it's construction is estimated before the year 911. It can be found in the quarter of Raval, very cose to the Rambla del Raval in the street called "Carrer de Sant Pau del Camp".
In the year 985 the monastery was attacked, nearly completely destroyed and abandoned till it's reconstruction from the year 1096.
