Circuit de Catalunya is the Barcelona Formula 1 Racing circuit, located few kilometres in the northern outskirts of the city in a small town called Montmeló.
There are two mayor events taking place on this circuit: The Formula One Grand Prix of Spain and the Grand Prix of Catalonia for motorcycles.
The Circuit de Catalunya was built in 1991 and is often referred to 'Barcelona' in the racing community, despite the fact that it is located in Montmeló.
There are many events each year and if you like you can drive some rounds with your own vehicle.
